The then Chief Educational Officer has also totally acted against the spirit of the Right to Information Act in that he has demanded money, which includes charges for writing letters and xerox to 94 schools (Rs.188/-), for postage for sending letters to schools (Rs.470/-), postage for receiving letters from the schools (Rs.470/-), and envelope charges for sending (Rs.47/-) and for receiving letters (Rs.47/-), while all that the Act has provided for is Rs.2/- per page for the final information given, and not all the administrative expenses involved internally.
